What many don’t know is that its history spans over 100 years! Surprising as it may sound, padel tennis was first invented in the early 20th century in Lower Manhattan, New York, USA.
Padel tennis is a unique combination of traditional tennis and squash. The rules are similar to those of tennis, but the smaller court size shifts the focus of play closer to the net, which significantly increases the speed of the game and players’ reaction time.
All this, combined with the glass back walls — from which the ball can also be played — creates an exciting and spectacular experience for both players and spectators alike!
